It takes caustic soda up to 50%, caustic potash up to 30%, ammonia up to 10% and bleach up to 12.5% chlorine. It also handles methanol and glycol based liquids such as glycol brake fluid.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is not for petroleum solvents or oils: brake cleaner, diesel and solvent degreasers swell EPDM, so use the \u003ca href=\"\/products\/klager-plastik-1-0l-solvent-resistant-pressure-sprayer\"\u003eKlager 1.0L Solvent Resistant\u003c\/a\u003e. For most acids use the \u003ca href=\"\/products\/klager-plastik-1-2l-acid-resistant-pressure-sprayer\"\u003eKlager 1.2L Acid Resistant\u003c\/a\u003e; acetic acid up to 30% is conditional on this sprayer, so ask us first. For acetone, MEK and quat sanitisers, ask us. Do not fill with liquid hotter than 30 degrees C. Refit the head by hand and pump around 30 strokes. The relief valve limits it to 3 bar. The 0.8 mm hollow cone nozzle gives a fine, even spray, and the see through strip on the bottle shows how much is left.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter the job, release the pressure, decant leftover chemical back into its container, rinse the bottle with clean water and pump some through the nozzle. Grease the pump piston O-ring with silicone oil only: petroleum based greases attack EPDM. Store it depressurised, out of heat and direct sun, and wear the PPE the SDS calls for.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eKeep it running\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEvery part is available as a genuine Klager spare.
