A washdown gun is the trigger gun on the end of a wash hose: it controls the flow, sets the spray pattern and has to cope with your water temperature and chemical. A hot water washdown gun such as the CT Italy RB65 is rated for water up to 60 degrees C continuously and 90 degrees C for short periods, with VITON seals and a brass piston.

Hot water washdown guns: brass or stainless

  • CT Italy RB65: the brass washdown gun for wash bays. A low pressure gun with VITON seals, rated to 24 bar (350 PSI) and 60 L/min, adjustable from a straight jet to a 60 degree cone, with a swivel inlet that stops the hose twisting.
  • Long RB65: the same seals, pressure and flow in a longer body, for more reach and more distance from the spray.
  • Stainless steel RB65: a stainless body that resists corrosion from cleaning chemicals, the pick for food plants.

The RB65 family is made for clean water, hot or cold, with normal detergents added. Above 60 degrees C wear gloves and eye protection, and for corrosive liquids send us the SDS first. Wash bay setups are on the truck and fleet wash page, and food plant washdown on food processing and catering.

Industrial and high pressure spray guns

The CT Italy RL16 is an industrial spray gun in brass and reinforced nylon with VITON seals, rated to 2300 PSI, 30 L/min and 90 degrees C. It is the gun fitted to the Gloria 505TK and 510TK car wash and carpet sprayers. The Braglia High Pressure Spray Gun is rated to 600 PSI for pest control power sprayers, with a ceramic nozzle, a stainless steel lance and NBR seals for water based products, not acids, caustics or strong solvents.

Guns for chemical sprayers: match the seal

  • Acids and petroleum solvents, VITON: the CT Italy Universal Spray Gun (grey), the CT Italy Acid Resistant Industrial Spraying Trigger and Lance, the NORA PRO spray guns with flatjet or cone nozzle for acid and bleach resistant sprayers, and the Gloria brass trigger for stainless TK sprayers.
  • Caustics, EPDM: the NORA PRO spray guns with cone or fanjet nozzle for alkaline resistant sprayers.

Lances and foam wands for reach

Klager nylon extension lances come in 15, 30 and 50 cm, with VITON seals for acid and solvent sprayers, a 0.8 mm adjustable full cone nozzle and nylon that will not rust. For Gloria sprayers, the 50 cm brass extension lance is in accessories. Genuine Lafferty A25 and A50 airless foam wands bring back thick, clinging foam on Lafferty airless foamers. How hot can the water be in a hot water wash gun?

The CT Italy RB65 family is rated for water up to 60 degrees C continuously and up to 90 degrees C for short periods only. The CT Italy RL16 spray gun is rated to 90 degrees C.

Brass or stainless steel washdown gun?

The brass RB65 is the standard choice for wash bays. The stainless steel RB65 resists corrosion from cleaning chemicals and suits food plants.

Which spray gun suits acids or caustics?

What fittings do the guns take?

The RL16 has BSP 1/4 female threads in and out, the RB65 a G 1/2 female swivel inlet and the long RB65 a BSP 1/2 female inlet. For other guns, tell us your hose and lance fittings and we will confirm.
