Warranty Information
NORA PRO warrants its professional spraying and foaming equipment to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service, for 12 months from the date the product is shipped from our facility. This page sets out what the warranty covers, what it does not, and how to make a claim. It applies in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.
What the warranty covers
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship on NORA PRO supplied units under normal use and service. Normal use and service means operating the unit within its recommended pressures, temperatures and chemical compatibility, with fluids that are compatible with the component materials. Where a unit is found to be defective at the time of shipment, we will repair or replace it at our option.
What is not covered
- Freight damage or freezing damage.
- Damage caused by parts or accessories not obtained from or approved by NORA PRO.
- Damage from misuse or misapplication, or from use with incompatible, flammable or hazardous chemicals.
- Normal wear and tear of moving parts, or of components affected by moving parts.
- Any unit that has been repaired or altered in a way that affects its performance or reliability.
Seals and expendable parts
Rubber and synthetic rubber parts such as O-rings, diaphragms, squeeze tubing and gaskets are expendable and are not covered under warranty. Sprayers are supplied with VITON, EPDM or NBR seals, each resistant to a wide range of chemicals, but no seal is resistant to every chemical. VITON (FKM) suits most acids and petroleum solvents; EPDM suits bleach, caustics and alkalis but not petroleum solvents or oils. Confirm compatibility for your chemical before use, and ask us if you are unsure. See our Chemical Compatibility Guide, and order genuine seal and repair kits matched to your chemical.
Warranty period and remedy
The warranty period is 12 months from the date the product ships from our facility. Our liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the product, at our option, where our investigation shows it was defective at the time of shipment. This warranty is given in place of all other warranties, express or implied, except for the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, which apply in addition and cannot be excluded.
How to make a warranty claim
Contact us before returning anything to obtain a Return Authorisation (RA) number. Units returned for repair or replacement must have an RA number issued in advance. Include your order details and, where possible, photos of the fault. Units returned for repair that are found to have no defect may be subject to an inspection charge. See our Return and Refund Policy for return handling and restocking terms.
Your Australian Consumer Law rights
Nothing in this warranty excludes, restricts or modifies the consumer guarantees, rights or remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they are not of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Safety notes
- Do not leave a pressurised sprayer in direct sunlight or a heated area.
- Do not use a sprayer with flammable or hazardous chemicals unless the unit is rated for that use.
- Release the pressure before servicing or opening a unit.
Frequently asked questions
How long is the NORA PRO warranty?
Twelve months from the date the unit ships from our facility, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service.
Are seals and O-rings covered under warranty?
No. Seals, O-rings, diaphragms, squeeze tubing and gaskets are expendable wear parts. We stock genuine replacement seal kits matched to your chemical, so you can re-seal a unit rather than replace it.
What voids the warranty?
Freight or freezing damage, using non-approved parts, misuse or misapplication, using incompatible or hazardous chemicals, normal wear and tear, and any unauthorised repair or alteration.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Contact us for a Return Authorisation number before returning the unit, with your order details and photos of the fault. Do not send anything back without an RA number.
Does the warranty affect my Australian Consumer Law rights?
No. The consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law apply in addition to this warranty and cannot be excluded.
