Terms of service

The following terms govern any purchase made from NORA PRO. By requesting a quote, opening a trade account or placing an order with us, you accept these terms.

Pricing and quotes

NORA PRO operates on a quote basis. Prices are provided on request and are quoted in Australian dollars, ex works our warehouse at Archerfield, Queensland. Unless stated otherwise, a written quote is valid for 30 days. If a supplier price change occurs before we receive your order, we may apply the current price, and we will contact you if it materially changes your quote.

Orders

  • Part numbers take priority. The part numbers listed on your order take priority in fulfilling it. If you do not list part numbers, we will fill the order based on your description, using our best judgement. If there is any question, we will make every effort to contact you before processing.
  • Written orders. We prefer purchase orders in writing by verifiable email, so fulfilment is accurate.
  • Phone orders. Where a written order is not possible, we carefully record phone orders. For phone orders you do not confirm in writing, the packing list shipped with the order is treated as final confirmation of the order.

Payment terms

Account payment terms are net 30 days. Account terms are available to Australian and New Zealand customers who establish credit with us. To apply, ask us about a trade account application. If you have not established credit, orders are supplied on a pre-paid basis. Electronic funds transfer is preferred; Mastercard and Visa are also accepted.

Dispatch

In stock items generally dispatch within 1 to 3 business days. Freight shipments, special requests, large quantity orders or events beyond our control may delay dispatch. We do not promise dispatch or delivery on a specific date unless a date forms part of a written quote. See our Shipping Policy for more detail.

Acceptance and returns

You are responsible for keeping your contact details current so we can reach you. We are not responsible for undeliverable or misdirected confirmations. Orders are deemed correct unless you notify us of an error before shipping, and acceptance occurs on delivery. Returns are handled under our Return and Refund Policy. In summary: no returns on custom built or custom labelled units; other unused units may be returned within 30 days with prior authorisation, freight prepaid, subject to a restocking fee of 15% or $25.00, whichever is greater.

Warranty

NORA PRO products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. "Normal use and service" means use within the recommended pressures, temperatures and chemical compatibility, with fluids that are compatible with the component materials.

Rubber and synthetic rubber parts such as O-rings, diaphragms, squeeze tubing and gaskets are expendable and are not covered under warranty. The warranty does not apply to any product that has been repaired or altered in a way that affects its performance or reliability.

The warranty does not cover: (1) freight damage; (2) freezing damage; (3) damage caused by parts or accessories not obtained from or approved by NORA PRO; (4) damage from misuse or misapplication; or (5) normal wear and tear of moving parts, or of components affected by moving parts.

The warranty period is 12 months from the date the product is shipped from our facility. Our liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the product, at our option, where our investigation shows it was defective at the time of shipment. A Return Authorisation number must be obtained in advance before returning any unit for repair or replacement.

These warranty terms do not exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which applies in addition to this warranty and cannot be excluded.

Important safety notes:

  • Sprayers are supplied with VITON, EPDM or NBR seals, which resist a wide range of chemicals. No seal is resistant to every chemical. Confirm chemical compatibility before use, and ask us if you are unsure.
  • Do not leave a pressurised sprayer in direct sunlight or a heated area, and do not use it with flammable or hazardous chemicals unless the unit is rated for that use.

Complete agreement

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and NORA PRO in respect of your orders and supersede all prior written or verbal understandings. No provision may be modified, waived or terminated except by signed written agreement. If any purchase order you issue contains terms that differ from these terms, these terms will control.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
