The PRO 500 JET Acid Resistant is the Gloria PRO 500 JET 5 litre poly sprayer, modified by NORA PRO with an acid resistant trigger valve and a PVDF nozzle. It has VITON (FKM) seals and a plastic lance with extension, holds 5.0 L in a 7.0 L tank, works at up to 3 bar (44 PSI) and comes with a 180 cm hose.

The photo shows the NORA PRO modification on an earlier Gloria model. The sprayer we supply is built on the current Gloria PRO 500 JET.
What it is for
Aluminium brightener, descaling chemicals, brick, tile and concrete acid washing, and shower and bathroom cleaners. The parts that would be attacked by acid are swapped for acid resistant ones.
It suits most diluted acids, such as hydrofluoric, nitric, citric and propionic acid up to 10%, acetic acid up to 20%, hydrochloric acid up to 25%, and phosphoric and sulfuric acid up to 30%. It is not for oils, petroleum solvents or alkaline products. Tell us the chemical and its strength from the SDS if you are unsure, and we will confirm before you fill. How to use it
Release any pressure, unscrew the pump and fill to no more than the 5.0 L mark, leaving air space to hold the charge. Refit the pump and pump until you reach 3 bar. The safety relief valve vents any excess pressure.
After the job, release the pressure, decant leftover acid back into its container, rinse the tank with clean water and spray some through so the valve, lance and nozzle come clean. Store it depressurised, out of heat and direct sun. Wear the gloves and eye protection the SDS calls for.

Common questions
Why not use a standard PRO 500 for acid?
The standard PRO 500 has a brass lance and nozzle, which acids attack. This version has an acid resistant trigger valve, a plastic lance and a PVDF nozzle.
What is the difference between the acid and bleach versions?
They are the same sprayer. The bleach version carries bleach resistant labels so each sprayer stays on one chemical.
Can I use it for caustic cleaners?
Use the Gloria CLEAN 500 with EPDM seals for alkaline cleaners and degreasers.
