The Klager 1.0L Superior is the heavy duty workshop sprayer for harsh petroleum solvents: the same refillable 900 mL format, but with higher grade FKM-80 (VITON) seals. Klager built it for the chemicals that wear out a standard solvent sprayer, and it tolerates carby cleaner.

Application fields
What it is for
Carburettor cleaner, brake and clutch cleaners, solvent degreasers, tyre shine and most other petroleum based solvents, especially in daily use. It is not for acids, alkalis, mixed chemicals, or thick and sticky liquids.
If your solvent contains acetone, use the Klager Master Solve+ instead, because acetone attacks FKM seals of every grade. For general brake cleaner work the standard 1.0L Solvent Resistant is usually enough. Check section 3 of the SDS before you fill.
How to use it
Fill to the scale mark, leaving an air space, screw the head down and charge it with around 30 strokes. The built in relief valve stops it being over pumped. After the job, release the pressure, decant leftover chemical back into its drum and store the sprayer out of heat and direct sun. These solvents are usually highly flammable, so spray away from sparks, flames and hot parts, with good ventilation, and follow the SDS and the label.
Keep it running
The Superior takes its own FKM-80 seal kit, so a worn seal is a repair, not a new sprayer. Add a colour coding cap so it stays on the chemical it is set up for.

What is the difference between the Superior and the standard solvent sprayer?
The seals. The Superior uses FKM-80, a higher grade of VITON, for better resistance to harsh petroleum solvents such as carby cleaner.
Can it spray acetone?
No. Acetone attacks FKM seals. Use the Klager Master Solve+ for acetone and solvent blends.
