The Gloria PRO 500 is a 5 litre oil and solvent resistant pump up poly sprayer with VITON (FKM) seals, a brass lance and a brass flat jet nozzle. It holds 5.0 L of liquid in a 7.0 L tank, works at up to 3 bar (44 PSI) and comes with a 180 cm hose.

What it is for
Formwork oil and decking oil, concrete sealers, mineral oils, degreasers, brake cleaner, cleaning chemicals and welding anti spatter.
It suits most solvent based liquids, such as diesel, kerosene, turpentine, xylene, n-hexane, degreasers and tyre shine. It is not suitable for acids, alkaline products or acetone based products. For acids use the Gloria PRO 500 JET acid resistant, and for alkaline cleaners the Gloria CLEAN 500. Check section 3 of the SDS, or look your chemical up in the Chemical Compatibility Guide, before you fill.
How to use it
Release any pressure, unscrew the pump and fill to no more than the 5.0 L mark, so there is air space left to hold the charge. Refit the pump and pump until you reach 3 bar. The safety relief valve vents any excess pressure. Gloria rates the best spray pressure at 1.5 to 3.0 bar, and the brass 8002E flat jet nozzle lays down an even 80° band.
After the job, release the pressure, decant leftover chemical back into its container, rinse the tank with clean water and spray some through so the hose, lance and nozzle come clean. Store it depressurised, out of heat and direct sun. Wear the gloves and eye protection the SDS calls for.

Common questions
Can I use it for solvents or brake cleaner?
Yes. Its VITON seals suit most solvent based liquids, including brake cleaner, kerosene, turpentine and xylene. It is not for acetone based products.
Can I use it for acid or caustic cleaners?
No. Use the Gloria PRO 500 JET acid resistant for acids and the Gloria CLEAN 500 for alkaline cleaners.
PRO 500 or PRO 8?
Same seals and pressure. The PRO 500 holds 5.0 L, the PRO 8 holds 8.0 L for fewer refills on bigger jobs.
