The Klager 1.5L Solvent Resistant is the larger workshop spray bottle: a refillable pump up sprayer that takes up to 1.5 litres of liquid, with VITON (FKM) seals rated for petroleum based solvents. It suits a busy floor where the 1.0L would need refilling through the day.

Application fields
What it is for
It takes the same petroleum based workshop chemicals as the 1.0L: brake cleaners, solvent degreasers, tyre shine, diesel, kerosene, white spirit and xylene. It is not for acids, alkalis, mixed chemicals, or thick and sticky liquids. Pine turpentine is only rated for the Klager Master Solve+, so ask us before you use it.
If your blend contains acetone, use the Klager Master Solve+ instead, because acetone attacks VITON. For carby cleaner and harsher petroleum solvents, see the Klager Superior. Check section 3 of the SDS before you fill.
How to use it
Fill to the max mark, screw the head down and charge it with around 30 strokes. The built in relief valve stops it being over pumped. After the job, release the pressure, decant leftover chemical back into its drum and store the sprayer out of heat and direct sun. Most solvents and brake cleaners are flammable, so spray away from sparks, flames and hot parts, with good ventilation, and follow the SDS and the label.
Keep it running
Every part is available as a genuine Klager spare. When the seals wear, fit a VITON seal kit rather than a new sprayer. Add a colour coding cap to mark the chemical, and a 15, 30 or 50 cm extension lance for extra reach.

Common questions
1.0L or 1.5L?
The 1.0L holds 900 mL and suits detail work and a tool kit. The 1.5L takes up to 1.5 litres for fewer refills on a busy floor.
Can I use it for brake cleaner?
Yes, for petroleum based brake cleaners. If the blend contains acetone, use the Klager Master Solve+.
What if it starts losing pressure?
Usually a seal has worn or swollen. Fit a genuine Klager VITON seal kit rather than replacing the sprayer.
