KLAGER - Germany
1.2L 'Master Solve+' Heavy Duty Pressure Sprayer
Item no. 03 041319 Solve+
The Klager 1.2L Master Solve+ is the workshop spray bottle for acetone blends and aggressive solvent mixtures: a heavy duty pump up sprayer that Klager builds to resist high strength solvent mixtures, including blends with a high acetone content. Application fields
What it is for
Solvent blends that contain acetone, such as some non chlorinated brake cleaners, thinners, paint, silicone and adhesive removers, plus acetate, glycol ether and cyclohexane mixtures. It also handles the petroleum solvents a standard solvent sprayer takes, so one bottle can cover a mixed workshop shelf. It is the Klager choice for acetone blend graffiti removers too, see our graffiti removal sprayers.
Why it matters: acetone and other ketones attack VITON, the seal in most solvent sprayers. A standard solvent sprayer that runs petroleum brake cleaner for years can fail quickly once a blend with acetone goes in. Check section 3 of the SDS, and if acetone, MEK or another ketone is listed, check it against the Master Solve+ before you buy.
The Master Solve+ is for mixtures. For pure acetone or pure MEK, Klager makes a different model, the Master Clean+, so ask us and send the SDS.
How to use it
Fill to the max mark, screw the head down and pump it up. The relief valve stops it being over pumped. After the job, release the pressure, decant leftover chemical back into its container and store the sprayer out of heat and direct sun. Acetone and most solvents are highly flammable, so spray away from sparks, flames and hot parts, with good ventilation, and follow the SDS and the label.
Klager makes every part available as a genuine spare, so tell us the model and we will supply the right parts. Workshops, auto parts stores and resellers can request a quote or apply for a trade account. NORA PRO is the exclusive Australia and New Zealand distributor of Klager. Common questions
Can I spray pure acetone with it?
Klager lists the Master Solve+ for solvent mixtures, including blends with a high acetone content. For pure acetone or pure MEK, Klager makes the Master Clean+, so ask us and send the SDS.
Do I need it for brake cleaner?
Only if your brake cleaner contains acetone or another ketone. For petroleum based brake cleaner, the standard Klager 1.0L or 1.5L Solvent Resistant is enough.
How do I know if my chemical contains acetone?
Check section 3 of the SDS for acetone, MEK or other ketones. If you are not sure, send us the SDS and we will confirm the sprayer.
