Mobile rig or fixed wash bay?
- Mobile washers: the Model 251 runs off a garden hose with no compressor, draws straight from the chemical container and throws foam up to 3.7 m. For wheels and tyre shine, the Gloria 505TK (5.0L) and 510TK (10.0L) pump by hand or run off an air line, up to 6 bar.
- Fixed wash bays: the Lafferty Wall Mount HV covers up to 46.5 m² a minute, and its gauges give the same foam every shift. The Drum Mount HV straps to a 205 L drum or tote, and the Meclube air driven sprayer sprays ready to use solution straight from an IBC.
- Pressure washer sites: the Lafferty Model 20SS Bypass applies two chemicals, then rinses at full pressure from one gun, with no chemical through the washer pump. It needs 13 to 21 litres a minute at 69 bar (1,000 PSI) or more.

Match the seal to the wash chemical
- Alkaline truck and fleet wash: EPDM. Some truck washes contain hydrofluoric acid or solvents, so check section 3 of the SDS first.
- Acid wheel cleaners and aluminium brighteners: VITON (FKM) in an acid resistant build, such as the Gloria PRO 500 JET Acid Resistant. Products with hydrofluoric acid need a specialist model, so ask us.
- Solvent based tyre shine: VITON (FKM). The 505TK and 510TK Car and Truck Wash suit it, but they are not for acids, alkalis or acetone based products.
The Volkanex 12L Atomising Sprayer is for non corrosive degreasers and wash agents, not acids. For acid washdown at volume, the Flojet wall mount box sprayer runs a G57 pump with VITON elastomers, its regulator preset at 4 bar for acid work. Wash guns, spares and detailing
For the rinse, the CT Italy RB65 hot water wash gun has VITON seals, flows 60 L/min at up to 24 bar (350 PSI) and takes water up to 60 degrees C continuously.
