Collection: Lafferty Acid Foamers and Sprayers

Lafferty acid units are built for highly corrosive chemicals such as concrete and cement removers, aluminium brighteners and acid descalers. The injector, bracket and valves are acid resistant, and the check valves are VITON. Choose a foamer to make the acid cling to vertical surfaces, or a low pressure sprayer to wet a surface slowly with very little runoff. Lafferty builds these units for concrete removal on trucks, agitators and plant, aluminium brightening on trailers and tankers, and acid descaling. Each product page carries the full manual, so you can check pressures, flows and parts before you order.

Buying guide

Acid LC foamers run on mains water and compressed air. The 1-Way handles one acid, the 2-Way handles two chemicals from separate pick ups.

The Acid W-20HC Spray-All is a sprayer, not a foamer. It runs on water pressure only, so it suits sites with no compressed air, and it draws acid as strong as 2.4 to 1.

Acid duty depends on concentration and temperature, not just the chemical name. Send us your SDS and we will confirm the unit and seals. See our chemical compatibility guide for seal choices.

Common questions

Can I use a standard foamer for acid?

Not for strong acids. Standard units use materials and EPDM seals meant for general cleaners. Acid units use acid resistant parts and VITON seals.

Foam or spray for concrete removal?

Foam clings to vertical surfaces and shows where you have been. Low pressure spray wets surfaces fully with very little runoff. Both work. It comes down to the job and whether you have compressed air.

Which spare parts wear first?

Check valves, metering tips and the suction strainer. Keep spares on hand.
