Collection: Lafferty Air Driven Foamers

Lafferty air driven foamers use mains water pressure and a compressed air line together. Water draws the chemical through a venturi at the set ratio, then air is injected to make a large volume of rich foam that you can set from wet to dry. They throw foam further and cover more area than airless units, which is why they are the standard for truck washes, food plants and large washdown areas. Each unit comes with 20 colour coded metering tips, a discharge hose, a ball valve, a wand and nozzles, so it is ready to plumb in. Spare parts such as tips, check valves, strainers and air regulators are listed on each product page.

Buying guide

Pick the volume first. HV and HVHC models cover large areas fast, about 13 to 15 L/min of water. LC models are medium volume, about 5 L/min, sized for one bay or room.

HVHC is the high concentrate version of the HV. It draws chemical as strong as 2.8 to 1 with no tip, for heavy soil. Gauge models show water and air pressure so the foam can be repeated shift after shift.

Wall mount units suit a fixed wash point. Drum mount units strap to a drum or tote, and bung mount units screw into the drum, so you foam straight from the container. For acids, use the acid foamers. No compressed air on site? See the airless foamers.

Common questions

How much compressed air do they need?

LC models use up to about 85 L/min and HV models up to about 142 L/min. Air pressure must stay below water pressure.

What water pressure do they need?

Most run on 2.4 to 8.6 bar mains pressure. Check your site pressure before you order.

Do they come with a hose?

Standard units come with a discharge hose, ball valve, wand and nozzles. No hose versions are available for plumbing into an existing reel.
