Collection: Lafferty Airless Foamers and Foam Guns

Lafferty airless foamers make foam without compressed air. Mains water pressure drives the venturi, and the airless foam wand draws in outside air to make a wet, clinging foam. That makes them a simple choice for sites with no air line, small wash bays and mobile work. Hose end foam guns go a step further: connect a hose, drop the tube in a jug and start foaming. Airless units have fewer parts to look after than air driven units, with no regulator or air line, so they suit sites where the operator changes often. Each unit still uses colour coded metering tips, so the mix stays accurate.

Buying guide

Wall units such as the A-50 suit a fixed point with a 15.2 m hose. Drum bung units such as the A-25 screw into the chemical drum. Hand held hose end guns such as the Model 251 suit detailers and small fleets.

Airless foam is wetter than air assisted foam and throws a shorter distance, about 2 to 4 m. If you need dry foam or long throw and have compressed air, look at the air driven foamers.

Most Lafferty fittings are US threads, so check your hose and tap fittings. We can supply adaptors.

Common questions

Can an airless foamer make thick foam?

It makes a wet, clinging foam that holds on vertical surfaces. For the driest, thickest foam you need an air driven unit.

What water pressure do I need?

Wall and drum units run on about 2.4 to 8.6 bar. The Model 251 hose end gun runs on 1.4 to 6.9 bar.

Can I rinse with the same gun?

Yes on the Model 251. The foam assembly unclips from a quick disconnect so the same gun rinses.
