Industrial concrete sprayers come in two types, and each job needs the right one: sealer sprayers for applying sealers and formwork oil, and acid resistant VITON (FKM) units for cement removal, descaling and brick cleaning. Acid and sealer sprayers are different builds, so one sprayer can never do both jobs.
NORA PRO supplies sealer sprayers in poly and stainless, and acid resistant removal sprayers in poly and air driven builds. Tell us the chemical and the slab and we will spec it. Pricing is on quote.
Keep sealer sprayers and acid sprayers separate
Concrete work uses two chemical groups that can never share a sprayer.
- Sealers and formwork oil: for solvent based sealers over big areas, use the Volkanex 12.0L air driven sealer sprayer, or a Klager solvent resistant bottle for small areas. For formwork oil and mineral oils, use the Gloria 505TK or 510TK stainless steel sprayers, or the Gloria PRO 500 and PRO 8 oil proof poly sprayers. These Gloria units have VITON seals for oils and most solvent based liquids, but not acids, alkalis or acetone. Klager's mini bottles are not for oil based liquids such as form oil. For water based sealers, send us the SDS.
- Acid etching, brick cleaning and cement removal: never put acid in a stainless steel 505TK, 510TK or Volkanex sealer sprayer. Use a poly or air driven acid sprayer with VITON seals and acid resistant parts: the Klager 1.2L or 1.5L Acid Resistant, the Gloria PRO 500 JET Acid Resistant 5.0L, a Flojet wall mount unit or the Meclube IBC mount sprayer, or a Lafferty Acid LC Foamer. Common questions
What sprayer for concrete sealer?
For solvent based sealers, a solvent resistant sprayer with VITON seals: the Volkanex 12.0L air driven sealer sprayer for big areas, or a Klager solvent resistant bottle for small ones. For water based sealers, send us the SDS so we can check it first.
What about concrete and cement removal?
Those chemicals are acidic, so use a poly or air driven acid resistant sprayer with VITON seals and acid resistant parts. Never use a stainless steel sealer sprayer for acid.
What capacity should I choose?
For big slabs, the 12.0L Volkanex for solvent based sealers or the 10.0L Gloria 510TK for formwork oil. For acid work, a 1.2L or 1.5L Klager bottle for spot work, the 5.0L Gloria PRO 500 JET Acid Resistant for walls and slabs, or an air driven unit for wash bays and precast yards.
