Collection: Sanitising & Disinfecting Sprayers

A sanitiser sprayer needs seals, springs and wetted parts matched to the active ingredient: EPDM or a dedicated bleach model for chlorine, a VITON (FKM) acid resistant sprayer for phosphoric or citric acid sanitisers, and an SDS check first for quats, peracetic acid and peroxide. That applies to an industrial disinfectant sprayer and a small sanitiser sprayer alike. Add a foamer if you want longer contact time, since disinfectants need dwell to work properly.

NORA PRO supplies sanitising and disinfecting sprayers and foamers for commercial cleaning, food processing and hygiene, including food grade options. Tell us your sanitiser and surfaces and we will match the unit. Pricing is on quote.

Match the sprayer to the sanitiser

  • Chlorine, bleach and sodium hypochlorite up to 12.5%: our EPDM sprayers, the Klager 1.2L Alkaline Resistant and Gloria CLEAN 500. NORA PRO also stocks dedicated bleach sprayers, the Klager 1.2L Bleach Resistant and Gloria PRO 500 JET Bleach Resistant, which pair VITON seals with bleach resistant parts. Chlorinated detergents contain other ingredients, so send us the SDS. See bleach resistant sprayers for the full bleach range.
  • Acid based sanitisers and descalers (phosphoric or citric): an acid resistant sprayer with VITON seals, such as the Klager 1.2L or 1.5L Acid Resistant or the Gloria PRO 500 JET Acid Resistant, or a Lafferty Acid LC Foamer for walls.
  • Quaternary ammonium (quats), peracetic acid and hydrogen peroxide: ask us. None of our manufacturer sources rate a seal for these, so send us the SDS and strength and we will check before you buy.

Foaming clings to walls and equipment and holds the disinfectant in contact longer. For food contact areas, see food grade sprayers, or the Chemical Compatibility Guide. Every build here is part of our range of chemical resistant sprayers.

To mix a chlorine sanitiser to 100 ppm, or to the rate on any sanitiser's label, use the Dilution Calculator. It gives the mL of concentrate and water for your sprayer size.

Common questions

What is the best sprayer for sanitiser?

One matched to your sanitiser: EPDM or a dedicated bleach sprayer for chlorine and bleach, an acid resistant sprayer for acid sanitisers, and for quats, peracetic acid or hydrogen peroxide, send us the SDS first. Add a foamer if you want longer contact time.

Which seal for a chlorine sanitiser?

EPDM, or a dedicated bleach model that pairs VITON (FKM) seals with bleach resistant parts. Klager rates its EPDM sprayer for chlorine up to 12.5%, and the bleach models are sold and rated for sodium hypochlorite. Chlorinated detergents have other ingredients, so send us the SDS.

Can I spray quats, peracetic acid or hydrogen peroxide?

Ask us first. None of our manufacturer sources rate a seal for these, so we do not guess. Send us the SDS and the strength and we will check before you buy.

Do you have food safe sanitising equipment?

Yes, food grade sprayers and foamers for food processing and catering.

Foaming or spraying for disinfection?

Foaming clings to surfaces and increases contact time, which improves disinfection on walls and equipment. Spraying is faster for open areas.
